Minsk – 30th June 2010 – BPS-Bank and American Express today announced a partnership that will see BPS-Bank acquire merchants on to the American Express merchant network in Belarus. The agreement was signed today and will go into effect from the beginning of 2011.

As part of the agreement, BPS-Bank will serve as the exclusive merchant acquirer and processor of American Express transactions in Belarus and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the merchant relationship, from acquisitions through to statements and marketing activities. As a result of this agreement, American Express Cardmembers will also have access to BPS-Bank’s ATM network in Belarus.
